I've been there. Standing in front of a kiln full of glass pieces, trying to remember which firing schedule I used last time. Digging through notebooks to find that perfect temperature ramp. Wondering if I documented that successful slumping schedule or color palette anywhere.

As both a glass artist and a User Experience designer, I realized I was using my professional skills to solve problems for everyone else—but not for myself and my fellow kiln artists.

So I built KilnTrack: the app I wish I'd had from day one. And while I work with glass, I designed it for everyone who uses a kiln—whether you're fusing glass, firing ceramics, or both.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking beta testers who:

● Regularly fire kilns (ceramic, glass, or both)

● Work with multiple projects and need organizational tools

● Are willing to provide honest feedback and suggestions

● Can commit to testing for at least 4-6 weeks (at your own pace)

● Are comfortable using web-based apps on mobile or desktop

● Can participate in occasional surveys (maximum of 2)

Both hobbyists and professional studio artists are welcome!

Is the beta free?

Yes! Beta testing is completely free, and you'll receive a discount when we launch publicly. Upon launch, there will be several tiers available: Free, Individual, Plus and Studio.

What devices does KilnTrack work on?

KilnTrack is web-based and works on any modern browser - desktop, tablet, or smartphone.

Does it connect directly to my kiln?

Not at this time. This version focuses on project tracking and scheduling.

How much time does beta testing require?

Use KilnTrack as much or as little as you'd like! We just ask for occasional feedback on your experience.

What happens to my data after the beta?

Your projects and firing schedules will automatically carry over to the free plan when we launch. Nothing gets deleted, unless you request it!

Can I suggest new features?

Absolutely! That's one of the main reasons we're running a beta. We want to hear your ideas.
